# Cookie Policy

## The short version

This site sets no cookies of its own. Baseline analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless. Third-party cookies can only appear if you explicitly accept the consent banner.

## Technical storage

The site stores two small preferences in your browser’s localStorage (not cookies): your theme choice (light/dark) and your consent choice. They never leave your device and contain no personal data.

If you accept the consent banner, error monitoring (Sentry) also keeps a short session id in sessionStorage, cleared when you close the tab. Sentry does not set cookies.

## Third-party cookies (only after consent)

If you accept the consent banner, Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) sets cookies (such as \_ga) to measure visits. These cookies are controlled by Google; see Google’s privacy notice for details and retention periods.

If you decline — or simply ignore the banner — no third-party cookie is set and no Google script is loaded.

## Anti-bot protection

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs only on the contact page when you interact with the form and may use technical storage strictly necessary to tell humans and bots apart.

## Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which reopens the banner with your current choices shown. Each purpose is independent: accepting measurement does not turn on error monitoring.

Consent is asked again after six months, and whenever the purposes change.
